Dharmagiri St Josephs Hospital

Dharmagiri St Josephs Hospital has been here in Valliyod for quite a while now. It is right in the Vadakkencherry area. People mostly know where the Anjumoorthy junction is, and we are not too far from that spot. The building is simple, nothing fancy. We have various floors and the nurses are usually busy running around from room to room. It gets quite crowded in the mornings because everyone from the village comes at the same time. Sometimes the fans make noise, and we have to fix them. Doctors come in their cars and park in the back. Most of the patients live around here in Vadakkencherry. We handle different cases, some small and some bigger ones that require staying over for a few days. The medicine smell is everywhere. We keep our files in the metal cabinets at the front desk. It's just a regular place where we try to help whoever walks through the doors. The hallway can be a bit narrow when many relatives are waiting outside. We try to keep the floors clean, but with the rain, people bring in mud. That’s just how it is here. Most people know us by name. It’s a community thing. We don’t have those big electronic signs, just the one outside with the hospital name on it.
