S B M Hospital

S B M Hospital has been down here in pada south for a good while now. Most people around the neighborhood know where we are. It is just a regular building with a few floors and some benches in the front where people sit when it gets crowded inside. My desk is right by the entrance and I see the same faces every week coming in for their checkups or just to ask a quick question. We don't have fancy lights or anything like that. It is mostly just white walls and the smell of cleaning stuff every morning when the staff comes in early. Sometimes the rain gets pretty heavy in this part of town and the water pools up near the door, so we have to put out mats. We deal with all sorts of things throughout the day. It gets loud around noon because that is when most people have time off to visit. There are a couple of small shops right next to us where the families go to get tea or snacks while they wait. The doctors here are usually busy running from one room to another but they always try to say hello to everyone. It is just how things go here in pada south. We try to keep things moving so nobody has to stay in the waiting room longer than they need to. It is a simple place and we just do the work that needs doing every single day.
