Riyas & Co.

Our shop, Riyas & Co., is located at 958L on Haripad Temple Road. We are right next to a stationary store that stays quite busy with school kids. Being on the temple road means there are always people walking by, especially in the mornings and evenings when the prayers are happening. You can hear the bells and the chanting from where we sit. We deal with various goods that people around here need. The shop is quite narrow, so we have to stack things high up on the walls. It’s a bit of a climb to get things down sometimes. We’ve been here for a long time and the building shows its age a bit. We don't mind. It feels like home to us. We have a small counter at the front where we talk to customers. Sometimes we offer them water if it’s a hot day. The stationary store next door is run by a friend of mine, so we often share tea in the afternoons. Haripad is a nice place to be. The traffic is mostly people on foot or bicycles. We don't have a fancy website or anything. We just rely on the people who live nearby or the ones coming to the temple. We try to keep a bit of everything in stock. It’s a lot of work to keep it all sorted, but we manage somehow.
