R. K. Rubber Products

Down here on Konnurhigh Road in Ayanavaram, at number 54/1, is where we run R. K. Rubber Products. The air usually smells a bit like raw rubber and grease because of the machines running in the back. It isn't a quiet place, especially when we are in the middle of a big production run. We have a few heavy presses and cutting tools that have been with us for years. The floors are concrete and usually have some scraps or dust on them by the end of the shift. We are just a local team doing the daily grind of making rubber parts for whoever needs them. Most of the guys here have been working together for a long time, so we don't need to say much to get the job done. The front office is small, mostly just a desk and a couple of chairs for when people come by to pick up their orders. We don't have a big sign or a fancy lobby. People find us because we have been in this spot for so long. It gets hot in the afternoons, but we keep the fans going and just push through the work. It is honest work, and we don't try to make it seem like anything more than what it is—a small factory making parts that people use every day. We stay busy with the orders and try to keep the machines in good shape.
