Punj Lloyd Ltd

Our place is down in Kerala in the Alleppey district. Specifically, we are at Puten Kandathil in Naduvattom Post, Pallipad. It is a beautiful area but we are here to work for Punj Lloyd Ltd. The office is a simple house-like structure. It is much quieter here than in the big cities. We have a lot of greenery around us and sometimes it’s hard to stay focused when it’s so nice outside. But we have plenty of work to keep us busy. The rain here is no joke and we spend a lot of time making sure everything stays dry. We are a small group and we all know each other well. We don't use much formal language in the office. It’s mostly just us talking about what needs to be done for the day. We have our coffee and sit at our desks which are a bit old now. The floor is just plain tiles and we don't have any fancy cooling, just some ceiling fans that work hard. People from the village often stop by to say hello. It is a very friendly atmosphere. We don't try to act like we are in some big corporate tower. We are just a local team doing our part in this corner of Kerala. It suits us just fine. We like the way things are here and we just get our work done.
