Pkr Foods

Out here in Alappuzha, things move a bit slower than in the big cities. Pkr Foods is situated at 524, right by the Cherthala Post Office. It is a handy spot because we are always sending things out. The building is old but sturdy. We spend a lot of our hours just making sure the ingredients are clean. It’s a lot of manual work, honestly. My hands are usually tired by five o'clock. We don't have any fancy marketing people telling us what to do. We just look at what people in the area need and try to provide that. The humidity can be a real pain sometimes, especially for storage, so we have to be careful with how we stack the bags. You can hear the post office crowd outside most mornings. It is a good landmark if you are trying to find us. We mostly deal with local supplies. It is not a huge operation, just a few rooms and some storage space in the back. Sometimes the rain makes the road a bit muddy, which slows down the trucks. We just sit out front on wooden stools when we take a break. It is basic stuff, nothing complicated. We have been at this address for years now, and the neighbors know us well. We just keep our heads down and do the work that needs doing every single day.
