Petals Day Care 'N Junior-School

Petals Day Care 'N Junior-School is right on the NH Road in the Kalarcode area of Alappuzha. Since we are a junior school and daycare, things stay pretty loud and busy from the early morning until late in the afternoon. We started this place because we saw a real need for child care for parents working in Alappuzha - 688003. The building is right near the highway, so it's easy for parents to drop their little ones off on their way to work. It’s not a fancy setup at all. We have toys, books, and small desks for the children to use. Our staff is mostly local women who have been looking after kids for many years. We don't have any corporate training or anything like that; we just know how to take care of children and teach them their first letters and numbers. Sometimes it’s a bit of a mess with all the toys and papers on the floor, but we clean everything up every single evening. We don't use any marketing talk or make big promises. We just tell parents that we will keep their kids safe and teach them a thing or two. Most of our families come to us by word of mouth from neighbors in the Kalarcode area. It’s a very informal atmosphere here. We just focus on the daily routine of meals, naps, and little lessons. It’s hard work, but we like being here with the kids.
