Mankavil Builders (OPC) Private Limited is based out of Kattanam, specifically at Mankavil Tharayil. Our office address is BP / X / 460 in Pallickal. This is a quiet part of Mavelikkara in the Alappuzha district. It’s a one-person company on paper, but really it takes a lot of people to get a building up. We focus on local jobs around the village and the nearby towns. It’s a lot of small-scale work, like houses or small shops. We don't have a big marketing budget or anything like that. Most people hear about us through word of mouth from their neighbors. The office is just a simple room where we keep our files and meet with people to talk about their budgets. Sometimes we have to travel a bit to get the right materials from the bigger towns. The roads around here are narrow, so getting big trucks in can be a challenge. We just take things one day at a time. If the sun is out, we work. If it’s pouring rain, we wait it out and drink some coffee. It’s a very local operation and we like it that way. We aren't looking to change the world, just to build some solid structures for the people living around here. It is steady work and it keeps us busy enough throughout the year. We are usually here if anyone wants to drop by.
