P. K. Govindan Company

P. K. Govindan Company is down on A. S. Road in Kommady. It’s an old name in these parts. We don't go in for anything fancy or new-age. The building has been here for years, and we have kept it pretty much the same. People know us as a place where you can just walk in and talk to someone. We don't have those automated phone lines or a big corporate office. It is just the desk, the warehouse, and the people working here. Kommady is where we belong. The A. S. Road gets busy with commuters, but inside here, it is just the usual business. We handle a lot of different things throughout the day. It’s mostly about making sure the orders are right and the inventory is where it should be. Sometimes things get a bit disorganized when a big shipment comes in, but we sort it out eventually. We aren't trying to impress anyone with big talk. We just do the job. The staff has been with us for a long time, so we all know how things run. It’s like a second home for most of us. We have tea together in the afternoon and talk about the news. Then it's back to work until it’s time to lock up. It’s a straightforward way to live. We’ve seen the area change a lot, but we stay the same.
