Kerala State Homeopataic Co-Operative Pharmacy Ltd

We've been here in Pathirapally for a while now. It's a busy spot near the post office, and most people around here know us as the co-op pharmacy. We handle a lot of homeopathic stuff, mostly mixing and bottling things that people need. It’s a group effort here, since it’s a co-operative, so nobody is really the big boss. Every morning the shutters go up and we get to work. The building isn't anything fancy, just a practical place where we make and sort medicines. Dealing with plants and minerals is what we do all day long. It gets really humid here in Kerala, as everyone knows, but we try to keep the place tidy and the stock organized. Sometimes the paperwork piles up on the old wooden desks, but that’s just how it goes with a state co-op. People come in and out all day, and we try to get things sorted for them without too much delay. We aren't trying to be some big city office with glass walls. We just do the job. The staff mostly lives nearby, so we all know the area well and chat about the local news. It’s quiet in the evenings once we close up and the traffic settles down. We don't spend much on decorations because we’re more focused on the vials and the mixing equipment. If you walk past the P.O., you’ll see our sign. It's been there for years and has faded a bit in the sun, but it still works.
