Joemons Wholesale Club

We run our business out of Changathara House in Pullikanakku. That is in the Pallickal area. It is basically a wholesale club, which means we deal with a lot of bulk items. It is not like the big supermarkets you see in the city. It is a much more local operation. We have all our inventory stacked up in the house and the storage area out back. People from the surrounding neighborhood come by when they need to buy things in larger quantities to save a bit of money. We know almost all of our customers by their first names. It is a quiet place around here, with not much traffic compared to the main town. We started this whole thing because we saw that people here needed a place like this. It is just us running the show. Sometimes the deliveries arrive late because the roads can be a bit narrow for the big trucks. We just handle it as it comes. It involves a lot of lifting and moving heavy boxes around all day. We do not have a website or any of that stuff. People just know we are here by word of mouth. We keep a simple ledger and try to stay as organized as we can. It is a pretty simple life for us. Sometimes we sit outside and talk to the neighbors while we wait for the next truck to arrive. It is a family-run kind of thing and we just keep going day by day.
