Haran Associates

We are over here at Adimana Illom in Thakazhy Po. It is a quiet enough place most of the time, though the rain can get quite loud on the roof during the monsoon months. Haran Associates is basically just a few of us working out of this space. We have some old wooden tables and chairs that have been around for a long time. There is no big sign outside, just the one by the gate so people know they have the right house. We spend our mornings going through the mail and the paperwork that comes in. Thakazhy is a small town, so we know most of the people who walk past our door every day. Sometimes they stop in just to say hello or ask a quick question about something local. We do not have a big corporate setup with fancy computers and glass walls. It is just a regular room with files stacked up and a ceiling fan that makes a bit of noise. We try to keep things organized, but on busy days, it gets a bit messy with papers everywhere. We take our tea breaks around eleven and usually talk about the news or what is happening in the village. It is a simple way to run things, but it has worked for us so far. We just do our bit and go home when the sun starts to set. It is honest work and we stay busy enough without needing to make a big fuss about it.
