Greenroots Ayurveda & Panchakarma Beach Resort

We are set up right by the beach in Alappuzha. It is a nice spot where you can hear the ocean if the wind is blowing the right way. We have been here for some time now, focusing on the traditional Ayurveda and Panchakarma treatments. It’s not one of those big, shiny resorts you see in magazines. We keep things pretty simple and grounded. The building has that old Kerala feel to it, and we try to keep it comfortable without being too formal. People come here when they need a break or if they have some aches they want to get sorted out with the oils and herbs. We have our own small kitchen where we make meals that fit with the treatments. It is a lot of work keeping everything clean and running, especially with the salt air from the beach, but we like being here. Our staff are mostly local people who know their way around the traditional methods. We don't have fancy uniforms or a big reception desk. Usually, you just find one of us around the garden or in the treatment rooms. It gets busy during the peak seasons when travelers come to Alappuzha, but we try to keep the atmosphere calm. It is just a place where people can come and stay for a bit while they get their massages and treatments done.
