Green Eis Farmer Producer Company Limited is based over here at Geethanjali in Kadakkarappally. It’s a quiet enough area in Pocherthala and we’ve been working from this spot for a while now. We aren't a big corporation with hundreds of people. It’s just a local group of us trying to do something for the farmers in this part of Kadakkarappally. The office is just a simple building. It’s nothing special to look at, but it gets the job done for our daily meetings and paperwork. Most of the time we are out and about anyway. Every morning starts the same way with some tea and a look at what needs to be done for the crops. We don't have a lot of fancy equipment or a polished front desk. It’s more of a place where you can just walk in and talk to us. Sometimes the power goes out in Pocherthala, and we just have to wait it out or work in the dark for a bit. That is just how life is here. We aren't trying to sell you anything with big words. We just want to help the farmers get a better deal for what they grow. It’s hard work and the days can be long, but we like being part of the community here at Geethanjali. If you are passing by this way, you might see us sitting outside talking about the next harvest. It’s a decent way to spend the day.
