Eternel Empereur Cotton Private Limited

My family and I have been at Ambili Cottage in Alappuzha for quite a long time now. We started this cotton business, Eternel Empereur Cotton Private Limited, right out of House No. 213 in Kuthirapanthy Ward. It gets pretty humid here in Kerala, so working with cotton just made sense to us. It is not some huge factory with hundreds of machines. It is more of a local operation where we keep track of everything ourselves. Most days involve checking on the stock and making sure things are moving along. The neighbors know us well since we are right there in Ward XXXVIII. Sometimes the rain in Alappuzha slows things down, but we just keep going. We don’t have fancy office furniture or anything like that. Just a couple of desks and some storage space for the materials. People ask about the name sometimes, but it’s just what we settled on. We deal with suppliers and try to stay honest with our work. It is a quiet street usually, except for when deliveries come through. We handle the paperwork, take the calls, and try to get the orders right. It isn't always smooth, and we make mistakes, but we fix them as they happen. Being based in a cottage means things feel a bit more personal than a big city office. We like it that way. It keeps us close to the ground and we know exactly what is happening every single day.
