Daystar Clinic

You can find us just south of the Stone Bridge in the Palace Ward area. It’s an interesting part of town to be in because of all the old history around here. The clinic itself is fairly modest. We don't have a huge lobby or a fountain in the front. It is just a regular door that leads into our waiting area. The floors are old tile and they creak a little bit when you walk on certain spots. We have a few windows that look out towards the ward, but mostly we stay focused on what is happening inside. Working near Stone Bridge means we get people from all over who are just passing through or who live in the older houses nearby. It is a quiet place for the most part, except for when the wind picks up. We spend our mornings setting up and checking our notes for the day. There is no big corporate team telling us how to talk to people. We just say hello and get to work. The chairs are a bit mismatched because we picked them up at different times. It feels very local, which is how we like it. Some days are slow and we sit and talk about the neighborhood, and other days we barely have time to grab a cup of coffee. It is just a normal clinic in a busy part of the ward, doing what needs to be done.
