Our place is at 44/567, near the North Collectorate in Alappuzha. Being so close to the government offices is handy for all the paperwork we have to do. Alappuzha is a unique place for any kind of developer because of all the water and the way the land is. We have to be careful with how we plan things here. Daralay Developers is just a small group of us working on local projects. We don't have a big fancy lobby or anything like that. It’s a simple office where we spend our mornings drinking tea and going over what needs to be done. Some days we are out by the canals looking at sites, and other days we are stuck inside because of the heavy rains. Alappuzha gets a lot of rain, and that always slows down the construction work. We’ve learned to be patient. We aren't in a rush to become a giant company. We just want to do decent work that stays standing for a long time. People around the North Collectorate know us, and we often have folks just dropping in to ask questions about land or building costs. It’s a very local way of doing business. We handle the day-to-day stuff ourselves, from talking to contractors to making sure the materials are delivered. It’s a busy life, but it’s what we know how to do.
