Classic Coir Factory

Classic Coir Factory is situated at Iv/833 Msp, Valavanand, in the Pollethai P.O. area. Down here, the air often smells like coconut husks and the sea. It’s a more rural setting compared to the big city offices. Our factory is where the real work happens, turning coir into different products. The noise from the machines can be a bit much when everything is running, and there’s always a bit of fiber flying around in the air. We don’t have an air-conditioned office with fancy chairs. Most of our time is spent on the factory floor or in the warehouse area. The work is physical and can be quite tiring, especially when the weather is humid. We’ve got a group of local people who work with us, and we all just get on with it. There’s no corporate ladder or big meetings here. We just look at what needs to be produced and we do it. Pollethai is a quiet place for the most part, except for the sounds of the factory. We don't spend money on big advertisements because we rely on the work itself to keep us going. If you come by, you’ll see us in our work clothes, probably busy with a load of coir or checking how the pieces look. It’s just a regular factory doing honest work with natural materials. We like being part of the local landscape here.
