We’re up on the second floor of the Gayathri Complex. It’s No 272 U 2 on Mavelikkara Road. Old Mavelikkara is a nice enough place to be based. Brightway Education Consultancy Llp is the name on our door. It’s a simple office. We’ve got some files and a couple of computers. People come to us when they are confused about where to go for college. We try to give them some straight answers. The complex is usually busy with other shops and offices. You can hear the traffic from Mavelikkara Road through the windows. It’s just the way it is here. We aren’t some big corporate firm from the city. We are just local people trying to help out. Most of our day is spent on the phone or looking at school websites. It can be tedious but it’s important work. We’ve been in Old Mavelikkara for some time now. People know they can find us here. We don’t do much advertising. Word of mouth is usually how people hear about Brightway. We just keep our heads down and do the work. It’s a practical setup for a practical business. The Gayathri Complex has a lot of stairs, but we’re only on the second floor. It’s a good workout if the lift is acting up, which happens sometimes. Mavelikkara Road is always busy, especially in the mornings. We just stay focused on the paperwork.
