We are located down in Kerala, in the Alappuzha district. The office is in a place called Perissery, which is near Chengannur. The full address is Enchakilodil Parattusseril, and it is more of a traditional setting than what you might find in a big city. B Mehtalia Consultants is run from here, and the atmosphere is generally very calm. We have a lot of greenery around the building, and during the monsoon season, the sound of the rain on the roof is so loud we can barely hear each other talk. The office inside is simple, with wooden desks and a few old cupboards for all our records. We don't really have a strict corporate dress code or anything like that. People from the village often stop by just to say hello or ask for directions. It’s a slow-paced life compared to Mumbai, but we still have plenty of work to keep us busy from morning until evening. Sometimes the internet goes out when there is a storm, so we just switch to doing manual paperwork until the lines are fixed. The air is fresh here, and we usually keep the doors open to let the breeze in. It is a humble place to work, and we have been part of this community for a long time now. We just do our work and head home when the sun sets.
