Arabian Gold & Diamonds

We are located right on Link Road in Kayangulam, which is a busy part of the town. The name Arabian Gold & Diamonds is on the front, and we have been at this spot for a while now. Most days, we spend our time keeping the displays clean and making sure everything is in its right place. Link Road has a lot of traffic, so there is always a bit of dust and a lot of noise from the cars passing by. We open up in the morning and stay until the evening when the streetlights come on. It is a pretty straightforward place to work. We have a small back room where we take our lunch and talk about the day. People from around Kayangulam stop in sometimes just to say hello or look around. The weather here can get quite humid, so the air conditioning is usually running all day long. We don't really have a big corporate structure or anything like that, it's just a few of us making sure the shop stays running properly. We try to keep the floors swept and the windows clear so people can see inside. It’s a lot of manual work and just being present at the counter. We’ve grown used to the rhythm of the street and the local crowd that walks past every afternoon. It’s just where we do our business.
