Aweys Designs

We are based at 46/183 on Temple Gunj Road, right near Netaji Chowk. Aweys Designs is basically a small studio where we handle different types of design work for people in the area. The building is older, and our room is tucked away but easy enough to find if you know where the chowk is. We have a few desks, some drafting tools, and a lot of paper samples scattered around. It’s often a bit messy because we are always in the middle of three or four different things. I like the atmosphere here because it feels lived-in and real. We don't put on any acts for our customers; they see us exactly as we are. Sometimes the power goes out and we have to wait a bit, but we just use that time to talk or grab some tea from the stall nearby. We’ve been working on Temple Gunj Road for a few years now, and we’ve gotten to know the rhythm of the street. It’s a mix of different people and businesses all squeezed together. We don’t have a fancy mission statement or anything like that. We just enjoy the process of making things look good on paper or on a screen. It’s a small operation, and we like keeping it that way so we can focus on the work itself. Most of our days are just spent at our desks, drinking coffee and figuring things out. It is a simple setup but it works for us.
