Arjun Manpower Supplier started because we saw how many people in Sedam needed a hand getting work. We are right by the Union Bank here in Gulbarga district, so it’s easy for folks to find us when they come into town for their banking or shopping. It gets pretty dusty out here some days, especially when the wind picks up, but we keep the office doors open and wait for the local guys to come in asking about what jobs are available. We help find workers for all sorts of different things, like helping out on a farm or doing manual labor when someone is putting up a new house or a wall. It isn't anything fancy or corporate. We just sit here in Aland Taluk and try to match the people who need a job with the right kind of work that fits what they are able to do. Sometimes the power goes out for a few hours, so we just sit outside on the bench for a bit and talk to the neighbors. We've been in this exact spot for a good while now. Most people know us by word of mouth because we don't really do much advertising or anything like that. If you walk past the bank and see our small sign, that is us. We handle all the paperwork which can be a real headache sometimes, but it’s just part of the daily grind and we don't mind it too much.
