Trj Granites

We’ve been running Trj Granites out of No:21 near Punnarkulam Jn for a good while now. It is a simple place in Azhagappapuram, right there in the Kanyakumari district. Most days you’ll find us out in the yard moving slabs around. It is dusty work and the sun gets quite hot down here, but it’s what we do. We don’t have a fancy showroom or anything like that. It is just a lot of stone and some heavy lifting equipment. People from the local area come by when they’re building a house or fixing up a kitchen. We show them what we have in stock and that’s about it. Sometimes we have a lot of different colors, and other times the selection is a bit thin depending on what arrives at the yard. We try to keep things honest and just tell people what is what. The junction can get pretty busy with traffic, but we’re used to the noise by now. We are just a small team of local folks working with granite. There’s nothing corporate about how we run things. We just open up in the morning, do the work, and head home when the sun goes down. It’s a practical way to make a living and we’ve gotten to know many of the neighbors over the years. We just keep our heads down and keep going.
