Out here at Post-Dhamori in the Kopargaon taluka, Emmanuval Agencies has been doing its thing for quite a while. Being in a rural district means things move at a different pace than they do in the big cities. We start our day when the light hits the fields, mostly focusing on getting the orders ready for the local farmers and builders around here. It’s a simple setup, just a storage space and a small office that gets a bit hot in the afternoons. We don't have a website or any of that fancy stuff. Most people just drop by because they’ve known us for years. The floor is concrete and has some cracks, and the door squeaks every time someone walks in, but nobody seems to mind much. We spend a lot of time talking to the neighbors and checking on the stock. It can get pretty quiet during the monsoon when the roads are muddy, but we still show up and keep the doors open. We aren't looking to expand or change how we do things. It works for us and the community. Sometimes we run out of certain items if the truck from the city is late, but that's just how it goes sometimes. We try to keep enough on hand so nobody leaves empty-handed. It’s a basic life, but it’s ours, and we’ve got no complaints about the long days we put in here.
