Utkarsh Power Devices is located on the Shri Bara Jyotirling Mandir Road, which is right off National Highway 6. We are in the Ranpise Nagar area. Being near the Shri Bara Jyotirling Mandir means there are always people moving around, especially on festival days. The highway noise is just part of our daily life here. You get used to the sound of trucks passing by after a while. We deal with power devices, so our shop is full of heavy things and metal casings. It’s not a place where you’d want to wear your best clothes because you’re likely to get a bit of grease or dust on them. I’ve been working in this field for a long time, and this spot on NH6 has been our base for a good portion of it. The shop floor is concrete and can get pretty cold in the winter mornings, but once we get the machines going, it warms up. We don’t have a fancy website or a sales team. If someone needs a power device fixed or wants to buy something, they usually just pull over and walk in. We have a small desk in the corner where we keep the ledger and the phone. It’s a straightforward business. We fix what’s broken and sell what people need for their factories or homes. It’s hard work and the days can be quite long, but it keeps us busy.
