Sagar Chemicals

Sagar Chemicals is located right above C.P. Medical at Gandhi Chowk. It’s a very busy intersection, especially being so close to the Durga Matha Mandir. You can often hear the bells from the temple while we are working during the day. Being on the upper floor gives us a bit of a view of the chaos down at the chowk. It’s not a quiet place, but it’s where we have always been. We handle different types of chemicals and spend most of our time keeping track of what is coming in and going out of the office. The stairs up to the office are a bit narrow, so we have to be careful when moving boxes and supplies. We aren't a corporate giant with a shiny glass building. We are just a local business trying to keep things organized. Some days are slower than others, but there is usually something to clean or a ledger to update. We know the people at the medical shop below us pretty well. It’s that kind of neighborhood where everyone recognizes each other. We don't have a big mission statement or anything like that. We just show up, do the work at Sagar Chemicals, and try to keep our customers satisfied. It’s practical work. Sometimes the electricity goes out for an hour or two, but we just wait it out. It’s just part of life here at Gandhi Chowk.
