Rugnaseva Clinic

Rugnaseva Clinic is located in Sasti, over in the Patur area of Akola. It’s a quiet spot for the most part. We have been here for a bit now, serving the people who live nearby. The clinic is simple. We have a few chairs in the waiting area and a small room for the doctor. It's not a big hospital or anything like that. Just a local clinic where you go when you aren't feeling well. The road outside can get a bit muddy when it rains, so we spend a lot of time cleaning the floors so it doesn't get tracked in. We see a lot of the same faces. People from Sasti come in with their kids or their elderly parents. We know the families around here. Sometimes we run out of tea in the afternoon and someone has to run out to the shop and get some more. We keep records in old folders. It’s mostly paper and pens here. We don't use a lot of high-tech stuff or computers for everything. It’s just about listening to what's wrong and trying to help out. The sun hits the front window in the evening, making it quite warm inside. We just open the door to let the breeze in. It’s just how things are in Akola. The shop next door sells snacks, and sometimes the smell of frying comes in. It makes everyone hungry around four o'clock.
