We’ve been here at Shop No.55 in the New Cloth Market for a while now. R.Parekh Business Solutions Llp is just us working through the daily pile of paperwork and talking to folks who stop by. The market gets pretty crowded, especially in the afternoons, but we manage. Most days it’s just about getting the work done and making sure nothing falls through the cracks. It’s a small space, mostly filled with files and a couple of desks, but it works for what we do. Sometimes the tea guy comes around and that’s usually the highlight of the morning. We don’t have any fancy lobby or a big sign, just the name on the door and a lot of things to keep track of. It gets dusty being in the cloth market, so there is always some cleaning to do before we start. We aren’t trying to be anything big or flashy. Just keeping the business going, day in and day out. It’s mostly phone calls and spreadsheets. If you walk past the shop, you’ll likely see one of us hunched over a computer. We’ve known the neighbors for years, which makes the long hours a bit easier. It’s not a glamorous life, but it’s our life. We handle the business side of things so people don’t have to worry about it themselves. Just a regular shop in a regular market, trying to stay organized.
