Navnirman Mahila Bahuuddeshiya Sanstha

We are located at S-31 Ganga Nagar, right near the Washim Naka area by the Washim Bypass Road in Akola. It’s a busy part of town but our spot is a bit tucked away. Navnirman Mahila Bahuuddeshiya Sanstha started because a few of us women wanted to do something useful with our time. We don’t have a fancy corporate setup or a big glass building. It’s just a simple office where we gather to talk about local issues and work on various small projects. Sometimes we help people with paperwork or organize small events for the neighborhood. The heat in Akola can be really tough, so we usually have the fan going full speed while we work. The road outside gets pretty dusty with all the trucks passing by the bypass. We’ve had some ups and downs, like any small group, but we keep showing up. Our furniture is just basic chairs and tables, and there are always papers piled up somewhere. It’s a very local thing, run by people who live right around here. We don’t try to act bigger than we are. If you’re in the Ganga Nagar area, you might see us sitting and talking. We just try to help out where we can without making a big fuss about it. It’s a quiet life most days, just doing what needs to get done for the community.
