Tux Foods

Our operation is based out of J-10 in MIDC Phase 3. It’s a typical industrial area, so there are lots of warehouses and factories all around us. We spend our time working on food products and getting everything packaged up. It’s not the kind of place where people just walk in off the street, as it's more of a production site. We’ve been at this location for a while and it suits what we do. The days start early here because there is always a lot to prepare. We don't have any fancy offices, just the space we need for the equipment and the supplies. Being in MIDC Phase 3 means we are around a lot of other businesses doing their own thing. Sometimes the trucks coming and going make the roads a bit slow. We just stick to our routine at Tux Foods and make sure the products are made right before they go out. It’s a lot of repetitive work but we take it seriously. We aren't a huge company with hundreds of people, just a dedicated group getting the job done. Most of our time is spent on the floor making sure the machines are running right. It’s a practical environment and we don't spend much time on anything that isn't related to the food we make. We just focus on the containers and the ingredients.
