Shree Art Tattoos

You can find Shree Art Tattoos right across from Shivaji College on Akot Road. Being in Malwadi like this, we get a lot of people walking by, especially students from the college. The shop is a small, comfortable place where we spend our hours drawing and working. It isn't one of those bright, clinical-looking studios you see in the movies. It feels more like a workshop. We started this place because we liked the art and wanted a spot of our own. Most days are spent sitting at the desk sketching out new ideas or cleaning the equipment. We take cleanliness seriously even if the rest of the shop looks a bit lived-in with sketches taped to the walls. It is a quiet enough street except when classes let out. We get a mix of people coming in. Some know exactly what they want, and others just want to look at the books for a while. We don't try to rush anyone. Getting a tattoo is a big deal for some, and for others, it’s just another Tuesday. We just sit, talk, and get the work done. The light in the front window is usually on until late in the evening. It’s just us here, doing what we do. No big marketing plans, just a sign out front on Akot Road and some word of mouth from the locals.
