Down in Telhara, specifically on Chichar Road, you’ll find Kastkar Infrastructure. We operate out of the place belonging to Lata Shridhar Raut in the Akola district. It’s a local operation, through and through. We don't have a big shiny office building with a receptionist out front. Most of the time, the people working here are the same ones out on the road or at the site. Being in Akola, we understand the heat and the way the land works around here. Infrastructure is a tough job because you’re always fighting the elements and trying to keep everything on schedule. We don't have any polished speeches about our vision. We just want to make sure the roads and structures we work on don't fall apart after the first monsoon hits. It involves a lot of manual labor and long hours. The office at Chichar Road is where we keep the records and meet with the guys to talk about the next day's tasks. It’s a straightforward business. We value being able to look a person in the eye and tell them the truth about a project, even if it’s bad news about a delay or a price hike. We’ve been a part of this community for a while, and we plan on staying. We just keep our heads down and do the work that needs doing, one day at a time, until the job is finally finished.
