Kartik Sunshine Foundation

If you are looking for us, you’ll have to head out to Village Murtjapur. Kartik Sunshine Foundation is basically operating out of Kiran Pal’s place. Kiran is the son of Ram Kumar, and everyone in the village knows the family, so it isn't too hard to find us. We are out here where things are a bit slower and more direct. We don’t have a big office building or a sign with bright lights. It’s just a practical setup in the village. Life here revolves around the seasons and the local community. We spend our time dealing with the everyday stuff that comes up in Murtjapur. Sometimes we’re working from the front room, and other times we’re out meeting people. It’s not a polished operation with uniforms or strict office hours. We just work when the work needs to be done. We’ve got our papers and our basic supplies, and that’s enough for us to get by. Being in a village means you know your neighbors and they know what you’re up to. There’s no hiding behind a corporate logo here. We just try to be helpful where we can and keep our records straight. It can get dusty and the roads aren't always great, especially when it rains, but we like being right here where people can actually talk to us face to face. It’s a simple life and a simple way of working. Just Kiran and the rest of us trying to make things function properly for everyone in the village.
