Kailashnath Farmer Producer Company Limited is located at S No 827 in Kanheri Gawali, which is in the Balapur taluka of Akola district. It is a quiet place and most people here are involved in farming in one way or another. We set up this company to help organize how we sell our produce and buy what we need for the fields. We don't have a big office building. We mostly work out of the space we have at the farm. It is a lot of talking to neighbors and seeing what everyone is growing this season. Cotton and grains are big around here, and we spend a lot of time worrying about the monsoon. When the rain is late, we all feel it. We aren't looking to grow into a massive corporate entity. We just want to make sure the local families can get a fair shake. Our records are simple and our meetings are usually held outside or in a small room. There’s no marketing team here, just a bunch of guys who know how to plow a field and manage a harvest. We handle the daily tasks like getting the trucks ready or checking the storage areas. It’s been this way for a while and we just keep doing what we’ve always done, just now we do it together as a company. It’s not fancy but it gets the job done for the people living and working around here in Akola.
