So we are based out of Akola, which is where we handle everything for Ctkart.Com. It is quite different from having a shop on the main road where people just walk in all day. Here, it is more about the sound of packing tape and boxes being stacked up near the door. The weather in Akola can get really hot, so we usually have the fans going full speed while we check the orders on the computer screens. It isn't a massive warehouse or anything like that, just a decent space where we keep our stock organized as best as we can. Sometimes the internet acts up or the delivery truck comes later than it should, and those are the days that get a bit stressful. We spend a lot of time double-checking addresses and making sure things are wrapped up tight so they don't break during the journey. It is a bit strange sometimes thinking that something we are holding here in Akola will end up in someone’s house hundreds of miles away. We don't really have a front desk for customers, just our desks and the shelves. Most of our day is spent typing, packing, and making sure the labels are stuck on straight. It is a lot of repetitive work, I suppose, but it keeps us busy. We usually take a break in the afternoon when the sun is at its peak and things quiet down for a bit before the evening rush starts again. It’s just how we do things.
