Cottoncity Nidhi Limited

Cottoncity Nidhi Limited is our small operation located in Shivaji Nagar, which is part of the Old City area in Akola. If you know Akola, you know it gets incredibly hot, but we stay busy here at the office. We are set up at C/O Gangubai Shyamrao Zaparde’s place. It is not a big fancy corporate building with glass walls. It is just a regular spot where people from the 444002 area come by to handle their money. We do the usual Nidhi work, like helping folks save a bit of cash or giving out small loans when someone is in a pinch. Being in the Old City has a different feel to it, and we like being part of that local rhythm. We aren't trying to act like a big bank from a city like Mumbai. We are just local people. Most of our days are spent doing paperwork and talking to neighbors who drop in to check their accounts. The address is very specific, so if you find the Zaparde house, you have found us. Akola is famous for its cotton, which is why the name Cottoncity seemed right for us. It connects us to the history of this part of Maharashtra. We have been doing this for a while now, just keeping things steady. There is no massive sign out front, just a simple place for practical financial work. It works well for us and the people around here.
