Chatrapati Shivaji Convent

Chatrapati Shivaji Convent is sitting right on Takale Khurde Road in Chohatta. You’ll find us at 301, Sh204, near the bazaar. It’s been here for a while now, right in the middle of everything in Akola. Because the building is just a regular school structure, local kids come here to learn their lessons every day. We open the gates early in the morning, and the noise of the students can be heard all the way down the street. It’s a busy spot, especially when parents are dropping off their children on bikes or walking them to the entrance. Since the area around Chohotta Bazaar is always moving, there is never a quiet moment outside our doors. Inside, it is just classrooms and desks and teachers doing their jobs. We don't have anything fancy here, just the basics that a school needs to keep going. Most of the families around here know where we are because we've been part of the neighborhood for quite some time. If you are coming from the main part of town, the address is easy to find. We just try to keep the place running smoothly so the kids have a spot to study. Between classes, the hallways get a bit loud, but that is just how it is with so many young people in one place. Daily routines of bells, homework, and lunch breaks fill our time. It’s a simple setup for the local community here in 444101.
