Rubees Horological Industries

You’ll find us over at P H Market on Tilak Road. It’s a busy area, and our space is filled with all sorts of small parts and tools that you’d expect in the horological trade. We work with timing and movements, which means a lot of squinting and steady hands. Rubees Horological Industries isn't a massive factory with thousands of workers, but more of a place where things are done with a bit more patience. The market outside is always loud with people shouting and vehicles honking, but inside, we try to keep things focused. It’s a bit cramped with all the benches and storage bins, but we know where everything is. We’ve been at this Tilak Road spot for a good while, and the locals know the name. We don't really do much in the way of advertising because the work usually speaks for itself when someone needs a clock or watch part looked at. It’s a specialized kind of thing, I suppose. Some days are slower than others, especially when the weather is bad and the market is empty, but there’s always something to clean or a small gear to adjust. We just keep at it, one tick at a time, making sure we stay busy and the shop stays open for whoever drops by from the street. It is a quiet trade in a loud market.
