Ak Foods

Ak Foods is located right on the Mumbai To Nagpur Highway. It is quite dusty because of all the trucks passing by all day and night. We are situated near the Akola Midc Industrial Area, so the whole neighborhood feels very busy and industrial. You can hear the engines rumbling from the office windows. The building itself is simple and doesn’t have much to look at from the outside. We have a lot of space for the food products, but it’s mostly just functional. There are stacks of crates and bags everywhere you look. The sun beats down on the highway, and it gets really bright inside during the middle of the day. We usually have people coming in and out, mostly drivers or workers from the nearby factories. It’s not the quietest place to work, but being on the main road makes things easier for transport. Sometimes we just sit and watch the traffic move toward Nagpur while we wait for the next delivery to show up. There isn’t much shade around here, just the concrete and the road. We keep a cooler of water in the corner because of the heat. It’s just a basic setup for a food business like ours. Most days are just about moving things from one spot to another and keeping track of what goes out on the trucks. It is a long stretch of road and we are just one of the many spots along the way.
