Vinayak Gift Centre

If you know the Madar Gate area, you probably know where Ghee Mandi is. That’s exactly where you’ll find Vinayak Gift Centre. It is a very old part of town with narrow streets and lots of history. Our shop fits right in there. We carry all kinds of gifts and decorative things. It’s usually pretty hectic around here, especially during the festival seasons when everyone is out shopping. We spend a lot of our time unpacking boxes and trying to find room on the shelves for new things. The building itself is old, so it has its quirks, like the uneven floors and the way the door creaks when it is windy. We aren't trying to be some big corporate store. It is just a place where you can find a nice vase or a toy for a nephew. Most of the people who come in live right around the corner. We know many of them by name. Sometimes we sit outside on stools when the shop is quiet and watch the world go by in the mandi. It’s a busy life but it is what we know. We do our best to keep things affordable because we know how it is for families these days. It is not always easy keeping everything in order with so many small items, but we manage somehow.
