Vijay Shri Agencies is situated right in front of the Ram Bharose Pyau on Kavandspura Station Road. If you know the area near the station, you know it’s one of the busiest spots in town. The pyau is a landmark, so people find us pretty easily. We’re mostly an agency, which means we deal with a lot of bulk stuff and distribution rather than just single items. The shop is more of a warehouse feel, with boxes stacked up high and people coming in and out with handcarts. It gets very hot in the summer, but being near the water station helps a bit. We’ve been operating from this location for quite some years. It’s a lot of coordination with suppliers and making sure the deliveries get out on time. We don't have a fancy showroom. It’s mostly just us, our ledgers, and a lot of heavy lifting. The noise from the station road is constant, with horns and people everywhere, but you get used to it. We aren't trying to be the biggest agency around; we just want to make sure the work gets done and the customers get what they need. It’s a straightforward business with no real bells or whistles. We open the doors early and stay until the last crate is moved. There is always something that needs to be loaded or unloaded, so we stay on our toes.
