Tara Ice & Ice Drinks

We have been here in Ghati Ganj Cavandaspura for a while now. Running an ice business isn't fancy, but it keeps us busy. People come by when the weather gets hot and they need something cold to drink. It's just a small place. Most days we are just moving blocks around or fixing the machines. My brother helps out most of the time. The shop stays open late during the summer months because that is when everyone is out. We don't have a big fancy sign or anything. Sometimes the floor gets a bit wet from the melting ice, but that's just how it goes in this trade. If you walk past the main corner in Cavandaspura, you will see us. We sell basic ice drinks, nothing too complicated. It's a lot of work lifting the heavy stuff, but we are used to it by now. The neighborhood knows us. Some days it is quiet and we just sit outside on the stools. Other days, like during festivals, it's non-stop. We don't spend money on advertising or anything like that. People just know where to find a cold drink when they are thirsty. It’s a simple life here. We just try to keep the coolers full and the ice ready for whoever stops by. It can be a bit noisy with the machinery, but you get used to the hum after a few years of working here every day. We just stay open until the last customer leaves.
