Ramas Furniture

We are located at No. 61-62 in Tagore Nagar, right across the road from Om Sweets. Being opposite a popular sweet shop is good because we get a lot of people looking at our displays while they wait. Our shop has a lot of wooden furniture like sofas, beds, and heavy wardrobes. We also have some office chairs and smaller tables. It’s a family-run place, and we’ve been here for quite some time. The air in the shop always has that smell of fresh wood and varnish. We spend a lot of time moving things around to make space for new items that come in. It’s heavy work and my back sometimes hurts by the end of the week. We don’t have a fancy sales team, just me and my son helping people who walk in. People like to touch the wood and check the drawers to see if they slide smoothly. We just tell them what we know about the pieces and let them decide. The street outside can get quite crowded with cars, so we often help customers find a place to park. We try to keep things simple and honest. It’s not a big corporate chain, just a local furniture store where we know the value of a good solid chair for a home.
