Sushila Devi Memorial Hospital & Dialysis Centre is over in Shastri Nagar, right on Lohagal Road. Most locals still remember this spot as the old Bharat Hospital location. We are at units 14/15. It’s a busy area of Shastri Nagar, especially with the dialysis part of what we do. Those patients come in quite often, so we see them more like regulars than just random visitors. It creates a different kind of atmosphere when you know everyone’s name and their family. The building itself has been around for a long time. It has that older hospital feel to it, not like those new glass buildings you see in the bigger cities. We spend a lot of time managing the dialysis machines and making sure the hospital wards are running okay. Lohagal Road can get quite congested during rush hour, so we always tell people to leave a bit early if they have an appointment. Being a memorial hospital, there is a sense of history to the place. We just try to keep things moving and help the people who come in from around the Shastri Nagar area. It’s a lot of hard work and long hours, but that is just how it is in this line of work. We don't have a big marketing department or anything. We just open the doors every morning and get to work helping whoever needs us that day.
