Suresh Novelty is at 21 Behind Surya Hotel in the Mayur Market, near the station road. If you go behind the hotel, you'll find us tucked away. It’s a bit of a hidden spot, so you have to look for the sign. Being near the station means we get a lot of people just passing through, looking for something to take home to their families. We sell all sorts of novelty goods and small items. The shop is at number 21 and it’s a bit of a tight squeeze when more than three people are inside at once. I’ve been running this place for years, and the market has changed a lot, but we’re still here doing the same thing. The morning commute is the loudest time because of the trains and the buses honking nearby. We mostly deal with small items, things that fit in a pocket or a small bag. Sometimes I sit on the stool out front and watch the traffic go by while waiting for the next customer. It's not a high-end place. The walls could use a fresh coat of paint, and the floor is a bit worn down from all the footsteps over the years. But it works for us. We stock what people ask for. If several people ask for something we don't have, I try to get it by next week. That’s just how it goes. No big strategy, just trying to keep the shelves full and the customers happy enough to come back.
