Our factory is over in the Silora Kishangarh Riico industrial area, specifically at Sp 3 in Phase II. Kishangarh is a place where everyone is making something, and we are no different. We manufacture woven bags. These are the heavy-duty plastic bags you see holding grain, cement, or chemicals. The factory is loud because the weaving machines never really stop. It’s a big open space with rows of looms and rolls of material everywhere. It’s not the kind of place where you’d wear a suit. We wear work clothes and usually have some scrap thread stuck to us by the end of the shift. Being in the Riico area means we have a lot of neighbors doing similar industrial work, so there are always trucks moving in and out of the gates. We have a decent-sized team of workers who keep the production lines going. It gets quite warm inside the shed, especially when the machines have been running for hours. We don’t have a fancy reception desk. If someone comes to see us, they usually just find us on the floor or in the small office at the front. We just focus on getting the orders finished and loaded onto the trucks. There is always a deadline to meet and another batch of bags to start. It’s a repetitive job, but we take it seriously and make sure the bags are strong enough for whatever they’ll hold.
