Siyaram Jewellers

Down in Naya Bazar, there is a small lane called Bisayat Galli. That is where you will find Siyaram Jewellers. It’s one of those old-fashioned market areas where everyone knows everyone else. We have been here for a long time, selling gold and silver items to the local families. The shop is small and tucked away, but it’s always full of life. People come in for all sorts of things, maybe a small gift or something for a wedding. We don't have the big glass windows like the malls do. It’s more personal here. You sit down, we show you the pieces, and we talk. That’s how business is done in Naya Bazar. The street is narrow and usually crowded with shoppers looking for a good deal. We like the atmosphere of the old city. It feels honest. We spend our days polishing things and talking to the neighbors. There isn’t any corporate strategy behind what we do. We just try to have a good variety of designs and treat people fairly. Sometimes someone comes in just to say hello or to get a small repair done. It’s a community thing more than just a business. We’ve seen kids grow up and then come back to buy jewelry for their own children. It’s a nice way to spend your life, being part of these family traditions. We wouldn't want to be anywhere else but here in this busy little corner.
