Shree Ganesh Collection

Our shop, Shree Ganesh Collection, is located in Chhoti Basti along the Pushkar Road. It’s not a big fancy showroom, just a local spot where we keep a lot of different clothes and fabrics. If you walk inside, you’ll see piles of colorful textiles reaching almost to the ceiling. We don't have a lot of floor space, so you have to be careful where you step. Pushkar is a busy town, and our street is always full of tourists and locals walking by. We spend a lot of our time showing different pieces to people and then folding them all back up again. It can be a bit tiring when it’s hot outside, but we have a small fan that helps. We’ve been here for a while and we know most of the other shopkeepers nearby. Sometimes we sit outside on a stool and watch the world go by when things are quiet. There’s no big marketing strategy here; we just put our best items near the front and hope people like what they see. We use a simple notebook to keep track of our sales and we don't bother with much else. It’s a very traditional way of doing things, but it works for us. The fabrics get a bit dusty from the road, so we are always shaking them out. It’s just a small family-run business trying to offer some nice clothes to anyone who stops in. We close the shutters when the sun goes down and head home.
