Our office is at 323 Rawat Nagar, which you can find right off Foy Sagar Road in Ajmer. It is a well-known part of the city. Being near the lake means the air feels just a little bit different here, especially in the evenings. The building we are in is quite plain, with a simple entrance and stairs that lead up to our floor. No big advertisements or neon signs are used to show where we are. It’s just a standard office where we keep our files and handle the local business for the cement company. Inside, the rooms are filled with the usual things like desks, chairs, and stacks of papers that seem to grow every single week. A small balcony looks out towards the road. Sometimes it’s nice to stand out there for a minute and watch the traffic go by when we need a break from the ledgers. The neighborhood is a mix of houses and small businesses, so there is always some activity nearby. Our regular routine involves a lot of record-keeping and phone calls. We aren't trying to be the most modern office in Ajmer. We just want a reliable place to do our work without any fuss. Most of us have been working here for years, so a good rhythm has developed. We make our own tea and usually bring our lunch from home, sitting together to eat before getting back to the afternoon tasks.
